Check out the prestigious awards presented at LLB Expo 2026

 

During LLB Expo 2026, several prestigious awards will be presented in various categories: the Innovation Awards, the Bullen Awards, and the Booth of the Year.

The award ceremonies were open to all visitors, who also had the opportunity to nominate the individuals, products, or initiatives they felt deserved recognition.

Winner of the Year 2026

Innovation Award – Audio

Spectera, Sennheiser – The world’s first broadband, bidirectional digital wireless ecosystem for professional audio, built around groundbreaking WMAS technology

Innovation Award – Lighting

Robe GigaPointe, Bellalite – It combines a 350 W white-phosphor laser with advanced optics, a moving head, and several new effect systems.

Innovation Award – Accessories

Resonans, Centas – Make audience interaction simple, wireless, and fully integrated into the live experience—without an app, login, or Wi-Fi. Audience responses can also control graphics, projections, and lighting in real time.

Bullen Lifetime Achievement Award

Mats Karlsson – The Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to an individual who has made a significant and lasting impact in the fields of innovation and development through his work in creating revolutionary solutions in lighting and video. His innovative product development has, in many ways, changed the way we work, created new trends, and thereby taken the industry’s creative and technical possibilities to entirely new levels.

Bullen Visionary Award

Leo Stenbäck – The Visionary Award of the Year is presented to Leo Stenbäck. A person with an exceptional ability and talent for translating creative visions into advanced technical solutions, with artistic vision at the center. With curiosity and a passion for driving development toward simpler and more efficient workflows in complex productions, he enables production processes where creativity takes center stage and technology takes a back seat.

Best Booth Over 40 square meters

Topstage (Booth B07:30) – For a booth that delivers across all channels.

With carefully designed visual effects and technical solutions, visitors are captivated even from a distance. The products take center stage through engaging demonstrations and interactive experiences that allow visitors to try them out and experience them firsthand.

The technology enhances the experience and lets the product take center stage. At the same time, the booth showcases smart production and efficient use of space, with the rigging creating a functional, flexible, reusable, and visually striking solution.

Best Booth (up to 40 square meters)

Infiled Europe (Booth B11:32) – When the products do the work.

Here, they have struck a clever balance between product presentation and booth construction. By using the products themselves as a frame, they create structure, clarity, and character while minimizing the need for traditional construction.

With just a few carefully selected products, the lineup showcases an impressive breadth and variety. Inspiring content adds life and energy to the booth experience and brings an extra dimension to the product presentation.

Innovation Awards

The Innovation Awards will be presented during LLB Expo 2026. This award was established to recognize and celebrate innovation, sustainability, and new ideas within the industry.

The registered products will be on display at LLB Bar throughout the entire duration of the trade show.

The award is presented in four categories: Sound, Lighting, Visuals, and Accessories.

Bullen Awards

The Bullen Awards are an award presented to outstanding individuals working in the field of entertainment technology. The award was established in memory of Bullen Lagerbielke (1964–2015) and aims to honor Bullen’s legacy as an outstanding and perpetually curious lighting designer. The award is presented in collaboration with the industry organization LLB. There are two categories: the Bullen Lifetime Achievement Award and the Bullen Visionary Award.

Booth of the Year

The “Booth of the Year” award is presented in two categories.

Best Booth Over 40 square meters

• Thoughtfully designed effects catch the eye and welcome visitors.
• Engaging demonstrations put the products in the spotlight.
• Visitors can interact, try things out, touch, and feel.
• Creativity and technology spark curiosity and enhance the experience.
• Smart use of straps provides a flexible, reusable solution that makes efficient use of space.

Best Booth (up to 40 square meters)

• The products frame the display and create structure, clarity, and character.
• Smart product use minimizes the need for traditional booth construction.
• A small number of carefully selected products showcase the breadth and variety of the product line.
• Inspiring content captures the visitor’s attention and brings life and energy to the site.
• A well-thought-out solution with minimal construction and maximum impact.
